Indemann is giant hi-tech sculpture illuminated in spectacular fashion using GKD'S ILLumesh®. The great giant man is designed by Maurer United Architects stand in the middle of the field. Visitors to the this landmark can enjoy standing on the shoulders of this great giant and gaze upon a landscape shaped by surface mining and that is set to undergo a significant structural modernization process over the coming decades.

This beautiful piece of architecture has already received the prestigious SEGD Design Award 2010

At night, the giant shines over the region for the people - much like once the underground miner with his pit lamp - and thereby becomes a mediatectonic symbol for the social revival of a non-urban space. At the opening, several thousand visitors marvelled at the spectacular illumination of the 36m long and 28m wide Indemann. Certainly this piece of work has attracted thousands of visitors, both during day and night to enjoy the view through the ILLumesh® giant man.
