Sports Facilities

GKD CreativeWEAVE architectural wire mesh has been used in many world-famous Gyms, Health Clubs, Sports Halls and Stadiums.

Stainless Steel wire mesh has been used in many applications including balustrading, façade cladding, fire escape cladding on stadiums and other sports facilities.

A beautiful unique look was achieved in these applications, using GKD's wire meshes, providing protection against wind, rain and falls. The use of multi-density mesh to create a differing and unique look.

The availability of large panel sizes facilitates even the largest surfaces in an apparently seamless veil. GKD wire meshes are stable in the one direction and flexible in the other, making the meshes a fantastic architectural choice.

Why is it important to use wire mesh?

  • Durable
  • Stable, yet formable
  • Low-maintenance
  • Recyclable
  • High fire resistance
  • Does not attract graffiti artists, as loss of paint is very high.
  • Robust and flexible makes it difficult to vandalise.

Please take a look in our International Projects section where, for example, you will find many examples of projects completed by GKD - Worldwide, including:
