GKD's Vienna mesh was selected by Pascall & Watson Architect to clad the Heathrow Terminal 5 Multi Storey Car Park. Vinna wire mesh was selected due to it's security function and aesthetics. GKD's Vinna stainless steel mesh has been used on the Multi storey car park facade, fire escapes and also on the screen elements.
Also, Vienna mesh is highly transparent, which allows daylight to flood through to the car park and provides cross ventilation this helps to remove vehicle carbon emmissions from the building quickly and easily, yet at the same time stainless steel mesh screen acts as a rain screen. Stainless steel mesh is one best material that can be cleaned easily and has a long life. Transparency of stainless steel mesh cuts down use of expensive lighting and ventilation systems for the car park. Above all Customers feel much safer inside the highly transparent MSCP.
Some of these applications can be seen on the image gallery below.
